WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

You will serve as a senior leader within Nike’s Global Finance Operations, embedded in the Global Order to Cash (O2C) organization. This leader partners closely with the Director of Global Process Delivery (O2C), Geo Credit & Collections Leaders across NA, EMEA, and GC/APLA, Marketplace Operations, Sales, Controlling, Legal, Treasury, and the Global Process Owner (GPO) responsible for O2C transformation.

You will also guide Nike’s retained governance relationship with Accenture, ensuring strong partnership and oversight of MSP-delivered global credit operations.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a strategic, enterprise-minded credit leader who can enable sustainable growth while strengthening Nike’s risk management posture across a complex global marketplace. This leader sets crisp governance, clear accountability, and high operating standards—leveraging analytics, automation, and an MSP delivery model to scale effectively.

The ideal candidate operates with clarity and confidence, influences senior stakeholders, and brings structure to decision rights, escalation paths, and performance management across globally distributed teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 9+ years of progressive experience in credit risk, financial analysis, treasury, or related fields

  • Demonstrated experience managing large, multinational credit portfolios

  • Deep expertise in credit policy design, approval governance, and risk frameworks

  • Proven ability to lead global, matrixed teams and influence senior leadership

  • Experience working with or governing outsourced / MSP operating models strongly preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA preferred. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience or training

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

Global Credit Policy & Governance Leadership

  • You will own and guide Nike’s global credit policy framework, including both high-touch and low-touch credit strategies

  • You will establish global approval authorities, escalation pathways, and exception-management standards

  • You will ensure policies are applied consistently across geographies while still enabling marketplace agility

Customer Credit Portfolio & Risk Strategy

  • You will own Nike’s global customer risk rating methodology and credit limit governance framework

  • You will provide executive-level oversight for material credit limits, reinstatements, holds, and risk exceptions

  • You will partner with Sales and Marketplace Operations to align credit decisions with growth strategies while protecting revenue integrity

Global Credit Operations & Delivery Oversight

  • You will lead Nike’s retained governance model for Accenture-delivered global credit operations

  • You will define clear roles, decision rights, and success metrics between Nike-retained leadership and MSP execution teams

  • You will ensure adherence to SLAs, quality standards, control requirements, and continuous improvement commitments

  • You will drive accountability through structured performance reviews, issue resolution, and capability uplift

Forecasting, Financial Risk & Executive Advisory

  • You will partner with Treasury and Finance Leadership to forecast credit exposure, bad debt, and working capital impacts

  • You will translate portfolio insights into clear, executive-ready risk narratives and recommendations

  • You will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on emerging risks, customer concentration, and market dynamics

Global Reporting, Analytics & Automation

  • You will own the global credit reporting strategy, including risk trends, credit holds, reinstatements, and policy exceptions

  • You will standardize metrics and dashboards across geographies to create transparent and actionable insights

  • You will champion the use of automation, AI, and third-party solutions to modernize credit decisioning

Leadership & Team Management

  • You will lead, coach, and develop Nike global credit Leads

  • You will build a strong team culture centered on clarity, growth, and capability building

  • You will ensure strong onboarding, training, and role clarity for both Nike and MSP delivery teams

  • You will strengthen the strategic partnership with Accenture through clear expectations and shared outcomes

Cross-Functional Leadership & Strategic Initiatives

  • You will represent Global Credit in cross-functional leadership forums and enterprise initiatives

  • You will partner with the GPO to shape future-state O2C design and execution

  • You will identify and drive simplification, standardization, and optimization opportunities

  • You will support multi-year transformation initiatives aligned to Nike’s broader finance and marketplace strategy
